Infinite Undiscovery

Currently Playing: Infinite UndiscoveryInfinite Undiscovery is completely different to all other JRPGs I’ve played, solely for the fact it’s real time, not turn based. It’s been met with a lot of weak reviews, and as with any RPG, it’s difficult to comment having only put a handful of hours in. While nowhere near as strong as Lost Odyssey, I’m still enjoying my journey as the unassuming hero, Capell.

So given my dislike of turn-based combat, would I likely enjoy this? How is it on linearity vs. openness?

To be honest, it’s too early to tell. But I do know it’s not the strongest JRPG I’ve played. Far from it. I’ll get back to you when I’ve put more than a lowly 5 hours into it :)

I bought the game the other day after seeing it here. Haven’t had chance to play it yet though. I see it’s made by the same guys that did the Final Fantasy franchise. Anything similar?

Nah, for me there’s nothing similar, and it’s certainly not on par with it. So far it’s been pretty mediocre, but strangely enjoyable. Try Lost Odyssey if you haven’t!

Aww, that’s a shame then. I am a big fan of the Final Fantasy franchise, especially 7 and 8 and would love for something similar on the XBOX.

Currently playing through Splinter Cell: Double Agent. It’s a hard game to get through without getting spotted and I am not to keen on the controls. Seem a bit limited compared to other games!
