Gaming Question And Answer

Monday, January 26th, 2009 at 11:03 am in General Gaming · Comments

I actually stole this from my friend, Mr Havros. I’m sure he won’t mind what with him being a generous chap and all. Anyway, sometimes people come across my site by searching for a specific answer via Google. I’m sure they rarely get the answer they’re looking for from my site, and being the helpful little lady I am, well I figured I’d respond in a much more targeted manner here.

How do I level up my soldier in Mass Effect?

By playing the game.

Hottest women of Fable 2?

Personally I think Fable 2 excelled in irritating and unattractive characters. Also, playing as a woman who ended up marrying a man, well, two actually, I didn’t scour for any hot woman. I found the prostitutes, however degrading their job may be, to be the most attractive. And you know they’d be up for anything in bed. (Hey, maybe that last sentence is why I’ve been called blokey in the past…)

Where can I get videos of virginity being taken?

I really should have thought of a more appropriate title for this post.

How do I complete Guitar Hero (or Rock Band as is the other highly searched criteria) on Expert?

To be honest, I’m not the best person to ask about this as I’ve never completed any of these games on Expert. Hard? Sure, but Expert? Nope. I think I could have with Guitar Hero II, but my disc has done that thing where something you once owned disappears off the face of the earth and actually never reappears again (seriously, where is that?). Guitar Hero III is nigh on impossible to complete on Expert, and Rock Band is stupidly easy until you get to the very last track where the difficulty ramps up and you’re like “Shit, triplets! More triplets! Never ending triplets! My fingers have fallen off!”. Common sense, however, dictates that the answer to this question is practice.

EDIT: My reliable source, Jandy, gives her answer:

I’d say Guitar Hero World Tour is about the same difficulty as Rock Band, maybe a tad easier than Rock Band 2. I’m basing that on the fact that there are two songs I can’t do on expert on Rock Band, two in Guitar Hero World Tour, and about six on Rock Band 2 (but I haven’t really practiced them, either, since achievements don’t depend on beating everything on expert in RB2). World Tour has more difficult tracking that Rock Band 2, but it’s also more forgiving - you can visually tell when you’re hitting notes a bit early or a bit late and correct yourself before you start actually missing them, and hammer-ons/pull-offs aren’t as picky, either. So it’s sort of a difficulty trade-off.

Should I use a prostitute for a threesome with my wife?

Yes! Always a good idea.

How do I get bigger breasts in Fable 2?

I. Don’t. Think. You. Can. I mean, if you eat pies and drink alcohol you’ll inevitably gain weight. But I don’t think there’s a way of keeping your general weight down while directing all fat to the breast region.

Rainbow Six Vegas ranking glitches

Please don’t glitch in Rainbow. If you wish to rank up, do it legitimately. It’s actually a very fun game, and now with the cap being taken off A.C.E.S. it’s become so much easier to rank up, with 5000 XP often being dished out for hitting the next level in CQB, Assault, or Marksman. I’m almost only 3 ranks from Elite. w00t.

Is Pierce Brosnan the voice in Fallout 3?

No! But I’m glad other people thought this, too. I got laughed at as apparently it “sounds nothing like Pierce Brosnan” (it so does). It’s actually Liam Neeson.

Guitar Hero or Rock Band; which is easier?

I’d go - in order of easiest - Rock Band, Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero III. Don’t know what World Tour or the Aerosmith versions are like. Maybe someone will give their opinion in the comments section?

Where can I find Any Port In A Storm in Fable 2?

I remember buying it from a stall on the bridge of Bowerstone Market. I’m pretty sure that items aren’t always in the same place as time progresses in Fable 2, so my advice is to just hunt around. It isn’t particularly rare.

Where’s Video Marketplace on Dashboard gone?

MINE DISAPPEARED, TOO! It’s back now, but I don’t care as I’ll never use it again. I don’t know where it’s gone or how to get it back. Let’s just mutter derogatory marks about Microsoft. That always helps.

So there you have it. I bet I wasn’t even of very much help at all, but really, some of those questions are just stupid. Upon reflection, however, I think I understand what the Mass Effect question is all about. If you’re wanting to know what to assign points to, it’s really very simple; it’s absolutely up to you. And that’s the beauty of Mass Effect!

You amuse me. :) I’m still boggling at the prostitute threesome question - maybe his wife would be a better person to ask than the internets? I’d think she’d have final say in such an arrangement…

Guitar Hero Aerosmith is by far the easiest Guitar Hero game out there! Like you, I’ve never finished a Guitar Hero game on Expert, only Hard. Personally, I thought it would have been much cheaper to release Aerosmith tracks as downloadable content.

Ooh, I’m flattered! Posts like these are gold. I’ve had many search queries come to my site that haven’t been answered (some though are just funny and preposterous!) unfortunately many times I haven’t made a note of these queries which I will make a resolution to do.

I’ve had some very funny queries, but none as rude as the ones you’ve received!

The only odd search query I’ve ever seen for my site is “things a hero does.” All the others have been fairly reasonable. Maybe if I actually start posting on my blog again that will change!

@Jandy

We all know the wife always has the final say in the arrangement! Do you mind if I edit the post to include your Guitar Hero answer (credited to you, of course)?

@Sean

Yes, I’ve noticed a fair few people have the full 1000 G’s for the Aerosmith version, where as the closest I came was with 800-odd for GHII. Everything else has been too darn difficult! Personally I have never been a fan of Aerosmith - even remotely - so I never even toyed with the idea of buying the game.

@Los Havros

I’ve had some very funny queries, but none as rude as the ones you’ve received!

I think I have a way with words.

@Andy

Yes! Get back to blogging! Now! Shoo!

Of course you can include my answer! Include away.

Oh, but only if you fix my typo where World Tour somehow became orld Tour.
